Monthly Board of Trustees Meeting Minutes

Present: Mary Beth Poupart, Barb Lloyd, Aubrey Hannig, Jennifer Cohen, Sharon Sweeney, Kathy Pray, Sarah Wimer – President, Sheryl La Delfa - Treasurer, Sheila Koeberle - Library Director

Meeting called to order at  6:38

Motion to amend the Agenda -  A motion to hire Allied CPAs to do a 2026 audit

I make a motion that we accept the September 2026 Director’s Report.

●        September 2026 Treasurer’s Report  

I make a motion that we accept the September 2026 Treasurer’s Report, including Abstract #10 Vouchers #2026-169 to #2026-184 with $17,870.79 in funds required and approximately $20,000 for payroll transferred.

Items for discussion/action:

·         I move to approve the purchase of two staff laptop computers from the OWWL Library System at a cost of $1,148.28 each, for a total purchase price of $2,296.56. In accordance with the Library’s Purchasing Policy, this purchase is determined to be in the best interest of the Library, and multiple prices were not solicited. These computers are not available through a New York State contract.

Review:  2027 Budget, bring questions to the next meeting.

Updates:

·         Budget vote and Trustee election is Tuesday, October 13 from noon-9pm. The Budget passed 60-yes and 8-no

·         Culvert Project—received an email that the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers received our application, October 1.

·         Trustee Education Training reminder

·         Historic Palmyra House Tour—Saturday, December 5 from 2-5PM
