Palmyra Community Library Monthly Board of Trustees Meeting March 24, 2016 6:30 PM @402 East Main Street Present: Jenifer Smyth, Kathy Wooden, Carolyn Bradstreet, Deborah Nagle, Courtney Marr, Patricia Baynes (Director), Jennifer Voss (Clerk of the Works) Excused: Alicia Lynch, Sandra Goehle Meeting Minutes: Upon motion duly made and seconded, the meeting minutes for February 2016 were approved. Director’s Report: Upon motion duly made and seconded, the director’s report for February 2016 was unanimously approved. Treasurer’s Report: Upon motion duly made and seconded, the treasurer’s report for February 2016 was unanimously approved. Motion duly made and seconded, unanimous approval of Abstract #3, which includes vouchers #2016-57 - #2016-84 in the amount of $90,914.55. Public Comment: No public comment was made. Grants:
The Library received a grant from the Bullis Foundation to replace 4 older computers up to $3430. They must be PC’s and we have until March 2017 to make the changes.
A $1000.00 donation to benefit the children’s room was received from the Lloyd Family.
A generous bequest was received from the Pettrone Family.
402 E. Main Street Building/Grounds:
The tentative completion date for the third floor is April 12, 2016.
Back steps start date is expected for late August or early fall.
Quotes are coming in for 1st and 2nd floor shoe molding.
The No Smoking Policy was updated and we will be receiving two new signs from the American Lung Association.
Patricia is working on a policy for the Art Gallery.
Measurements and quotes have started for the 3rd floor window treatments.
Third floor furniture discussion …. Round tables are a must!

Patricia will be attending the Trustee/Director Workshop on April 22, 2016.
The Dixie Prittie Award reception is tentatively scheduled for June 7, 2016.
The Grand Opening of the yet to be titled third floor has been tentatively scheduled for September 2016.
